Women's Health

Nutrition plays a crucial role in supporting women's health during all stages of life. However, as women age, they often experience unexpected and undesirable body changes that can be quite challenging, emotionally and physically.

Abdominal weight gain, mood swings, increased anxiety, hot flashes, brain fog, gastrointestinal distress, sleep disturbances, and loss of libido are some of the symptoms women in this mid-life phase can experience. Feelings of frustration and confusion about who or what to believe can lead women to turn to many perceived magical alternatives. When these supposed solutions fail to deliver lasting results, the intense frustration only magnifies the situation, making positive lifestyle choices and changes that much more challenging to achieve.

The transition from peri-menopause to post-menopause is a critical time period for women to gain knowledge about HOW their bodies work, understand WHY these changes are occurring, and gain tools for WHAT they have positive control over to feel and be their best self.

Nutritional awareness, alongside regular movement and, in some cases, hormone therapy, serves as foundational tools necessary for keeping the body in its best possible balance.

Bridget will provide guidance to implement a non-gimmicky nutrition approach to a women’s well-being during these wisdom years, which is vital for long-term health. Overall, a nutrient-dense diet customized to meet the unique needs of women during these years can significantly enhance quality of life and promote longevity, enabling women to navigate this transition with greater ease and resilience.
